In&Out

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

These photos were actually shot just yesterday.
Yesterday was not a good day my friends.
My husband and I decided to head into the city.
The kids were sleeping at my sisters and I had a showroom to visit,
so why not make a day and night out of it right?
Wrong.
To make a long story short we were in and out of the city within about 2 hours.
My daughter, who just got over being sick, got sick again...104.4 fever sick.
This is very bad since we are going away in 2 days...ahhh.
Anyway the day is coming to an end and tomorrow is another day.

On a fashion note...
Remember my last post with this long layer,
well here is another example of just how effortlessly chic they are.
It was 90 degrees so I had to go with minimal fabric.
The long layer adds a layer of sophistication to an otherwise casual look.
The Banana Republic tee was longer and had sleeves.
I chopped it into a sleeveless crop right before we left.
It was the perfect stretchy fabric to be turned into one and I never wore it as a tee anyway.
So resourceful of me right?

Well here's to a stress-free Wed.
If the little things start to get you down, just remember...
Its not that deep.

You look so fab! Love the top and shorts together. So sorry about your daughter. Maybe she will shake it as fast as she caught it. My son came down with a high fever last week and it was gone in a day. So weird.
