I know this is primarily a "fashion and "style" blog but believe it or not there are a lot of other things I am passionate about...primarily my health. 
I strongly support "clean" eating. I do not eat meat or dairy and try to stay away from wheat as well. 
I have Lyme Disease which has caused a lot of inflammation in my body over the years. 
Eating "clean" has really helped reduce my inflammation and it makes me feel so good. 
We all know that Kale is a "super food" (read why here) and I make this kale and berry smoothie everyday.
I am a mother of two and I am busy. I was often eating nothing until 12-1pm just because I was running around and wouldn't even  think of it.
The Nutribullet has helped me stay on track. 
So here is what I put in my bullet everyday...

As seen above I fill 3/4 of my bullet with raw Kale...

Next, I add in frozen berries.
I always have these on hand, they are all fruit, no sugar added, and my son loves to eat them slightly frozen.
They are also way cheaper than buying fresh berries

I add in a banana...

and then some nuts for protein, cashews, almonds or walnuts will work

I then add in flax seeds (huge amount of Omega-3) and my Green SuperFood nutritional supplement.
You know how they say that you pee out 90% of your vitamins? Well this supplement is made strictly from natural foods so you  are getting the full benefits.

Add water (how much depends on how liquefied you want it) and blend.

and there you go...a yummy, healthy meal to go

Some side notes..
-If I have avocado handy I will add that too for extra protein
-The Nutribullet chops up greens perfectly and it is only around $100
-oh and do your kids love smoothies? I slip kale into my son's everyday and he has no clue...shhh

Wow, now I want to try this out! I so know what you mean about not eating until 12-1pm because of kid chores. I routinely forget to eat in the morning. In fact, have I eaten today? Hmmm, I've had a lot of coffee, that's for sure! XO, Jill

I juice sometimes and discovered flax seeds when I was running a lot. I just don't think I can give up bacon and cheese:) Like the look of the blender for ease - looks easy clean up!

I'm so happy to see a fashion blogger posting about healthy living! Eating healthy food is important to me as well - as is yoga, fashion, reading, art...a list of other things! Sheree, I have Lyme too, going on three years now. I have loved your blog and relate so much to your style. I know this is unrelated to style but any info on how you are dealing with Lyme would really be helpful. I am currently going to a LLMD in Colorado Springs but have seen no progress after 3 years on oral abx and a year of IV infusions. I'm interested to know what has worked for you if you'd be comforfotable sharing. If, not, I completely understand. I truly enjoy your blog and it has made some long days bearable.
