By now you are probably sick of these Manolo's. They would probably be considered ancient in the blogosphere considering how many times I have worn them on here.
When I bought them, a long 3 months ago, I instantly envisioned this look.
I had this cream dress, it's not textured and doesn't have half as much character as Chrissy's (yeah, we're close like that) but I knew the simple structure of the cream dress paired with the dominant black boots was I look I would love. I love wearing jackets that are longer than my dresses which is why I went with this one, and I added a vintage belt that I bought over the weekend.
Now that I am looking at these pics..I probably would have enjoyed this better minus the belt..thoughts?

I'm glad you went with the belt! And I love the silhouette of the coat that's longer than the dress!

Melikey. And I like your version better, for what it's worth, so THERE. And this may sound weird, but in the photos where you have the coat on, I like it with the belt, but in the photo sans coat, I think I would like it better wivout. Go figure. But belt or no belt, you always look hawt.
Looking so classy! I love your dress and shoes!:)

Sheree,
It's perfection. Love the drama of the long coat over the dress, great belt and boots... Just a very dramatic, commanding-attention outfit with such a tough, sexy and classy presence.... Quite similar to you, my dear ;)

I like the addition of a belt as it kind of breaks up the long silhouette but I bet it would look just as chic without the belt. Maybe a daytime to nighttime transition with the belt..

This is me! When did we swap out closets? Also loving you in yellow, next post.
Now that you mention the belt I agree, however, only because you said so. It looks all good to me.
So chic! This is one of my favorite looks from you!
Ps- That jewelry post was a draft from an interview on Vogue from last year! Somehow it got time stamped for today's date and posted itself. LOL. I never posted it, or took quotes from the interview initially, so I thought it was saved as a draft. However, it was saved as a post for a year later instead! If you look at when that collection launched, it was last year. Hahaha. I seem to be having the worst time with the blogging situation lately. *SMH.

I am so in LOVE with this outfit. That coat over this look is perfection. And, um, no, I could NEVER get sick of those fabulous boots!
