Summer of the cut-offs

Thursday, August 16, 2012

I have been obsessed with these Levis' cut-offs since I bought them on our trip to Savannah.
If you've been following you have seen them fairly often as of late..
examples 1.& 2
This dress on the other hand I have never worn on the blog or at all for that matter.
It is Alexander McQueen and I bought it at, of course, Blackbird Attic
It is AMAZING worn as a dress just a tad too small.
I can have it fixed easy enough, just been lazy, so I decided to just wear it open as a jacket.
I love it like this too...who knew?

That dress is gorgeous and just perfect worn like that. I think it's classic pieces worn in unusual ways that can make them special :-)

Let's talk. The shorts? Yes. The dress? F&*K yes. But the SHOOOOOES??? Come ON. YES YES YES YES YES. I have never been a fan of deck shoes (well, at least since I wore them the FIRST time around) but those? In gold? Are frigging badass. Just build a bridge and GET OVER YOURSELF. Oh, and I would like your legs please.

mmm-kay, I meant that last line in a way less serial killer way than it sounded. Have a good one, mama!

Your look is perfect for the hot weather, and I love how you spiced up the summer stable blue jeans and top with that dress. I love dresses that you can wear other ways. It's definitely versatile and worth every penny. :)

Sheree you are the Queen Midas of style... everything you touch is pure gold!!! To wear this dress as a jacket is genius, and I so love your Sperrys - I really want metallic ones like yours but they don't seem so easy to get hold of in the UK. Must. Try. Harder. ;)

Hope you're well sweetie!!
