{MONOCHROMATIC} Light Lavender

Tuesday, August 14, 2012

So today I am participating in and linked up to Everybody Everywhere.
The theme was monochromatic and although I just did these for a recent post with red, I thought it would be fun to give it another go. This is definitely not a fly by night trend. Monochromatic looks will always be in which is why I get excited to experiment with this trend using different colors.
Today I picked Lavender (with some metallic accents) only because I had these two pieces in my wardrobe and have actually never paired them together.
Instead of using a dress as a jacket, like I have been doing, today I am using a jacket as a top.
I have to say I am loving it and I love the slight sexiness of not having anything underneath.
Whatcha' think my loves?

Just starting to rain here...yuck!

Wow this is a gorgeous jacket/top, Sheree... that colour is so good on you! It's a really unusual cut, and I love that you can get away with nothing underneath it ;))

How great to see a more unusual colour on the EBEW monochromatic theme too!!
